Nana Asuo Gyebi

Is an ancient river Deity originally from Northern Ghana.  Nana stated that, "He came to the United States to help the lost children of Africa reclaim their spiritual past". 

Nana Asua Gyebi  is a great healer and protector.  It is said that he takes messages to the Council of Abosom to get answers when they are not easily forthcoming.  Thus, he deals with the very difficult cases.  Nana is the Obrafo to Nana Panyin.  therefore, you cannot take his actions for granted.  He displays in outfits of various colors and style including those originating from the Northern area of Ghana.  However, his ahenies are red and white.  He is known though out Ghana for his many beautiful wives. 
Nana Asuo Gyebi is know as a great dancer who in addition to his own dances is often seen dancing to Ghana high life music.
He enjoys gifts of money, peanuts in the shell, corned beef, White Horse Scotch, Gordon�s Gin, hard candy, grits, green bananas, white rice, and white cloth.
He resides in the river in Larteh/Akempem, Ghana.

Nyame Dua means "God's tree", or a place of worship

Nyame Dua Bosumfie is an Akan religious organization that exist to promote Akan religious and cultural practices. Nyame Dua Bosumfie is dedicated to continuing the cultural traditions and religious concepts of  Nana Okomfohemma Akua Oparebeah, The late High Priestess of Nana Akonnedi Shrine of Larteh Ghana.

 
Nyame Dua Bosumfie  is led by Okomfo Akosua Nyo Agyiriwaah  and will  incorporates all aspects of the Akan customs/culture such as the  Naming Ceremony, the Aweregye -Marriage Ceremony,- Puberty Rites, Akoms- Healing and Cleansing rituals, as well as the celebrating of the 42 day Akwasiadae for the Nsamanfo and annual festivals feeding the Abosum.
